HAGERSTOWN, MD - Micronel Safety USA, designer and manufacturer of powered air purifying respirator (PAPR) products for personal protection, has announced that its C420 Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) system is now NIOSH-approved, meeting the requirements of 42 CRF Part 84. The assigned NIOSH approval number is TC-23C-2668. The respirator is approved for use against 13 Toxic Industrial Chemicals (TICS) and Toxic Industrial Materials (TIMS) and includes an Integral High-Efficiency filter for particulate protection. (AM/CD/CL/FM/HC/HF/HS/MA/OV/SD/PH/CS/CN/HE). C420 PAPR systems are waist-mounted, battery powered, air purifying systems that filter out airborne contaminants.
